Return & Refund Policy

1. Return Window & Conditions

We adhere to the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. You have 7 Calendar Days to return an item from the date you received it.

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it.
  • The item must be in the original packaging, with all tags intact.
  • You need to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

2. Non-returnable Items

Due to hygiene, customization, or religious sensitivity, the following items CANNOT be returned:

  • Customized/Personalized products (e.g., printed with mandal names).
  • Bulk products produced on heavy volume quotations perfectly adhering to the approved sample.
  • Perishable goods, Prashad, or items categorized strictly as "Pooja Samagri" that cannot be reused.

3. Refund Process

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.

If your return is approved:

  • We will initiate a refund to your original method of payment (e.g., Credit Card, UPI, original bank account).
  • You will receive the credit within 5-7 business days, depending on your card issuer's policies or banking network.
  • If your order was Cash on Delivery (COD), we will ask for a bank account or UPI ID to transfer the amount.

4. Shipping Costs for Returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item if the return is due to a "change of mind." Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Exception: If you are returning an item because it was defective, damaged during our courier delivery, or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping costs completely.

5. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange a product (e.g., needing a different sizing format of the Nishan), you must return the original item, and place a new order. Alternatively, you can contact our support team at returns@shyamsudhama.com to arrange for a rapid exchange process.
